Iron Wash Canyon, San Rafael Swell, Utah

Iron Wash Canyon in the San Rafael Swell is a technical route with narrow slots and keeper pools requiring chimney moves and swimming through cold water. Located near Highway 24, it pairs well with Zero Gravity Canyon for a day of multiple Swell canyons. The canyon has some interesting wavy linear groove patterns in the sandstone walls.
