Golden Gate Sink, Nevada

I went out to do some ridgewalking and came across a massive void at the base of a mountain. All the signs were there for a significant cave: a large void at the base of a mountain, limestone with other caves in the area, I was walking up a fissure leading to the cave, the entrance trending down. Everything was there to be significant — except the cave.
I was sure I found something amazing and it gave me even more motivation to gain 1,600 ft in a mile and a half. The rock was crumbly and it appeared that layers would just peel off and collapse on itself. I decided to call this Golden Gate Sink — a sink at the bottom with two small rooms that do not leave the light zone. I am hard pressed to call it a cave.
