Spry Canyon 3AII, Zion National Park, Utah

Spry Canyon is a short technical 3AII canyon on the south side of Zion National Park near Springdale. Accessible with a permit from the Zion visitor center, this canyon offers tight sandstone narrows, fun rappels, and a rewarding half-day adventure without the full commitment of the park's bigger routes.

A good option for those wanting a taste of Zion technical canyoneering without a full-day commitment. The canyon has interesting geology and the typical Navajo sandstone beauty of the Zion region. Refer to ropewiki.com for current beta and permit requirements.
