Zero Gravity Canyon, San Rafael Swell, Utah

After Iron Wash I wanted one more canyon before sunset and Zero Gravity delivered. The approach follows the rim of the canyon before dropping into a convergence of conduits all joining at once — a traffic stop of canyon passages from all directions. The canyon is more slab rock than true slot, which adds challenge. Chimneying over keeper pools and swimming short sections. Some escape routes visible on the sides until a jump-in section with no avoidance. A good technical warm-down after a longer canyon day in the Swell.
