Spanish Moss Cave is located in Rock Canyon east of Provo in the Uinta National Forest limestone. A gated, permitted cave requiring a key from the land management agency. The entrance is a corkscrew 40ft drop with a twilight zone chamber at 15ft before continuing to the bottom. The cave is named for the black arachnid-like plant roots growing from the walls in the dark zone, resembling Spanish moss. A sandy bottom with some popcorn formations and a registry. One of the more accessible decorated caves in northern Utah.
