Fossil Snail Canyon 3AIII, Death Valley National Park

Fossil Snail Canyon is a Death Valley technical canyon in the Grapevine Mountains named for the fossil snails visible in the canyon walls — a remarkable geological feature. The canyon has a dramatic amphitheater character with interesting technical sections and expansive Death Valley views.
