Flipoff Canyon, Grand Canyon National Park

Arriving to the Grand Canyon region is a local ticket to another world. Flipoff Canyon is our entry point — around 2,400ft of elevation loss getting us into the upper reaches of the great Kanab Creek Canyon. Hiking was straightforward with amazing views and the route-finding was a pick-your-way approach. The roads leading to the trailhead were some of the better roads I've experienced in the Grand Canyon region.

Flipoff was a great access point for our Crackbaby, Rattlesnake, and Kirk's Chasm loop — we were about to find out how amazing this Grand Canyon adventure would become.
