Day 3 wrapped up the Nevada-Utah desert caving weekend with Whipple Cave near Ely — the longest drive of the trip but absolutely worth it. Twin pit entrances separated by a natural bridge, crystal-lined passages, and massive breakdown rooms at the bottom. The long drive back to Las Vegas gave time to plan the next expedition.
