Cathedral Valley, Capitol Reef, Utah

Cathedral Valley in Capitol Reef National Park is one of the most remote and dramatic landscapes in the American Southwest. Towering monoliths rise hundreds of feet from the desert floor in this isolated section of the park, accessible only by 4WD. The Upper Cathedral Valley and Lower Cathedral Valley offer a sense of scale and solitude rarely matched anywhere in the Colorado Plateau.
