Cascade Falls Cave is a horizontal cave in the Dixie National Forest, Utah, approximately 2000ft in length consisting mainly of walking passage. The cave does not appear to be limestone in origin but sits on a contact layer with signs of scalloping from ancient swift water movement. The cave is known to have elevated CO2 levels due to decaying organic matter from Navajo Lake above. The air quality changes noticeably deeper in, so the team turned back at the halfway point.
