Big Falls Canyon, Mt. Charleston, Nevada

Big Falls is a short technical canyon just below Mt. Charleston — beautiful limestone cliffs and bristlecone pines surrounding the route. Three to four drops before the 160-170ft free-hanging last rappel. Pair with Little Falls Canyon for a full day in the Charleston range. Best visited just after spring road opening for C-class snowmelt flow.

210ft rope had plenty of margin at the bottom. Brought wetsuits but didn't use them — dry conditions. Get here right after spring road opening for the best water flow.
