Waterslides Canyon 3BIII, Arizona

Waterslides Canyon is another Arizona classic with some fun slides and a few rappels. I found this canyon to be more like a fun water park with some rappelling involved. The first section was somewhat narrow with nice scenery and raps coming one after another.

The canyon opened to a wash stepping down into a section with flowing water and pools — reminded me of the 7 Teacups in California but not as dramatic. The pools were a lot of fun to jump and slide into. There are no walls but the slides and beautiful moss made this place quite nice. We encountered rappelling up to around 80 ft. We ended up with around 9 hours total. If you are in the area I highly recommend this canyon for the fun slides. Make sure you research the weather before entering.
