October Gypsum Cave, Arizona

The Parashant is just over 1 million acres of highland desert plateau divided between the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and Arizona state land. The region holds over 20,000 years of human habitation history and significant geological character. October Gypsum Cave is in this remote stretch of the Arizona Strip region north of the Grand Canyon. Arrowheads found on the ground near the entrance offer a direct connection to the long human history here. With Tom Madsen and Ron Davis.
